I teach and practice Vinyasa Yoga, a mixture of the Ashtanga and Jivamukti Yoga disciplines. I love the traditional method of Ashtanga, the strict sequence of postures, the flow of Vinyasas, the energy locks and the special breathing techniques that make the practice a moving meditation. I combine these techniques with the inspired and unique choreography of Jivamukti Yoga, providing vigorously physical classes with a strong emphasis on the spiritual side of yoga. I integrate elements from these practices and always pass on my learning experiences to my students so that they themselves become educated in the yogic path. My aim is to bring yoga closer to people, because I believe ‘It is one of the most divine exercises one can do’.
Yoga's combination of postures and breath awareness enables us to smooth away our tensions, increase our strength and flexibility, strengthen our bones and joints, increase our oxygen uptake and thus gives us more energy and vitality, something we all long for. Yoga is suitable for absolutely everyone.
